BJP-led Mahayuti crosses 200-mark in Maha local body polls, show trends

As counting for elections in 246 municipal councils and 42 nagar panchayats is currently underway in Maharashtra, trends show BJP-led Mahayuti leading in 214 local bodies, while Opposition's Maha Vikas Aghadi leads in 52, NDTV reported. BJP is leading in 3,120 seats of 6,859 that went to polls. These results come a year after Mahayuti won the State Assembly elections.
