BJP-led Mahayuti crosses majority mark in Maharashtra

The Mahayuti alliance, led by BJP and comprising of Shiv Sena and NCP, has crossed the majority mark in the 288-seated Maharashtra Assembly, data from the Election Commission shows. As per the latest data, BJP won 78 seats, Shiv Sena won 37 and NCP 32 seats, taking the total number of winning seats to 147.
