BJP-led NDA moves closer to 2/3rd majority after winning 19 of 26 Rajya Sabha seats

BJP-led NDA has moved closer to 2/3rd majority after winning 19 of 26 Rajya Sabha seats, taking its total tally to 152 members. It's now 12 seats short of two-thirds majority mark of 164 in the 245-member House. The alliance can reach the majority mark with the help of BJD and YSRCP, which have 5 and 7 seats, respectively.
