BJP lost deposits in 64 Telangana seats, Congress in 13, BRS in 7

The Telangana Assembly election results have thrown up certain embarrassing losses common to the three principal political parties. The BJP lost deposits in 64 of the 111 constituencies it contested. The Congress, which emerged as the victor winning 64 seats, faced the ignominy of losing deposits in 13 seats. The incumbent BRS suffered the same in seven seats.
