BJP MLA illegally given 2nd ballot paper in RS polls: Ex-Odisha CM

Former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik protested the alleged illegal acceptance of BJP MLA Upasana Mohapatra's vote in the 2026 Rajya Sabha election after it was earlier rejected for overwriting. "The officers...have illegally accepted her vote and have issued a second ballot paper," Patnaik said. He added, "This is totally against the democratic norms and the violation of election rules."
