BJP MLAs oppose as Assembly adopts anti-FCRA amendment resolution

Kerala Legislative Assembly passed a government resolution urging Union Government to withdraw FCRA bills, 2026 and FCRA rules, 2026, contending that proposed changes would adversely affect functioning of voluntary and charitable organisations across country, particularly in Kerala. Of 113 members present in House, 111 voted in favour of the resolution, while two BJP legislators voted against it.
