BJP MP Manoj Tiwari to propose lowering juvenile age to 14

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said he'll move a Private Member's Bill to lower the juvenile age from 17 to 14 for heinous crimes. He cited a case where a minor responsible for three murders was sent to correction centre and committed murder after returning. "We don't want criminals...to get away with heinous crimes...just because...they're fifteen, sixteen, or seventeen," he added.
