BJP MP Rekha Verma booked for allegedly slapping constable

An FIR was filed against BJP MP Rekha Verma for allegedly slapping an on-duty police constable in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri on June 9. The constable said, "She passed insulting remarks at me, slapped me without a reason, and immediately left the spot." Verma reportedly assaulted the constable as she lost her cool when he failed to follow her instructions.
