BJP is launching free bus travel for women in West Bengal from June 1, fulfilling its election promise. Women can ride government buses for free using a Pink card. Until cards are issued, Aadhaar or Voter ID can be used. Surveys show around 1.8 lakh women commute daily in Kolkata and nearly 4 lakh across the state.
