BJP opens new offices in Tamil Nadu amid language row

BJP on Wednesday opened its new offices in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore and two other districts. Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the event amid the ongoing language row after the state's DMK government denied implementation of NEP 2020. Prior to Shah's arrival, tensions also erupted between police and party members with BJP accusing authorities of not granting permission to put banners.
