BJP president urges fire safety overhaul after Kolkata tragedy

Following the fatal hotel fire in Kolkata's Burrabazar, Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar issued a strong statement. In a post on X he wrote, "I urge the administration to immediately rescue those affected, ensure their safety, & provide them with necessary medical & assistance. I appeal for a thorough review & stricter monitoring of fire safety measures."
