BJP's 'nari suraksha' reserved for its workers: TMC after Mahua attacked with eggs

TMC alleged that BJP's promise of "nari suraksha" now applies only to its own workers after party MP Mahua Moitra was allegedly attacked with eggs. "Neither the police nor CRPF personnel made any serious attempt to disperse the mob or ensure the safety of our MP," TMC stated. It added that the attackers were "BJP-backed goons" and "not ordinary citizens".
