BJP's Patra defends SIR, explains ASDD formula for 13 cr names

BJP MP Sambit Patra on Monday defended the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), saying 13 crore flagged names follow the ASDD formula — Absent, Shifted, Deceased, Duplicate — not vote theft. He broke down the figure: ~3 cr absent, 6 cr shifted, 2.8 cr deceased, 1 cr duplicate. His remarks came a day after the I.N.D.I.A bloc's Ramlila Maidan rally against alleged electoral roll irregularities.
