BJP's Satya Sharma named presiding officer for MCD mayor polls

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Wednesday nominated a BJP councillor Satya Sharma as presiding officer for MCD mayoral polls. The mayoral elections are scheduled to take place on November 14 at 2 pm on the 4th floor of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Centre, according to official order. Sharma also presided over the previous mayoral polls in December 2022.
