BJP should bring UCC Bill to Parliament: J&K CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said the BJP should introduce the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill in the Parliament, rather than pushing it through individual states. "Their own allies are not in favour of it," Abdullah added. Union Minister Amit Shah earlier said the UCC will be implemented in all 21 NDA-ruled states before 2029.
