BJP summons Karnataka unit over cross-voting in MLC polls

The BJP high command has summoned its Karnataka unit chief, Vijayendra Yediyurappa, and Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, R Ashoka, after cross-voting in MLC elections. The party is seeking an explanation for the cross-voting, which helped Congress gain five of seven seats. BJP President Nitin Nabin will meet Yediyurappa on Tuesday in Delhi, a party worker said.
