BJP vows ₹5,000 monthly aid to all pro & anti journalists in WB

Just days ahead of the Assembly polls, BJP promised a monthly allowance of ₹5,000 to eligible accredited journalists in West Bengal. "Whether those who write for us, and those who write against us—everyone is our friend," said state BJP president Samik Bhattacharya. He noted that while it's not a large sum, the initiative is more of a gesture of support.
