BJP will make tilak compulsory for Hindu students in T'gana: MoS on 'Kalma homework' row

Union MoS Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that if the BJP forms the government in Telangana, it will make bottu (tilak) and bangles mandatory for Hindu students. He was reacting to controversy over a Class 2 student allegedly being assigned 'Kalma' (Islamic declaration of faith) as homework at a Hyderabad school. Sanjay accused the school management of targeting Hindu culture.
