BJP workers allege irregularities after loss in Varanasi MLC polls, stage protest

BJP workers protested at the MLC election counting centre in the Pahariya Mandi area in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi on Wednesday, alleging irregularities in the vote counting. They accused Teachers' Constituency observer Pranjal Yadav of facilitating malpractice following the party's defeats in the Graduates' and Teachers' constituencies. Notably, the Samajwadi Party (SP) won both seats.
