BJP's Ghanshyam Lodhi wins Rampur LS bypoll by defeating SP's Asim Raza

BJP leader Ghanshyam Lodhi has won the Rampur Lok Sabha byelection after defeating SP candidate Asim Raza, BJP leaders have claimed. Lodhi, a former SP MLC, had joined the BJP ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. The seat fell vacant after its sitting MP Azam Khan resigned and successfully contested the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.
