BJP's new Goa CM proves majority, gets support of 20 MLAs

BJP leader Pramod Sawant on Wednesday proved majority in Goa Assembly during the floor test, after he was sworn-in as the Chief Minister at 2 am on Tuesday. With 12 BJP MLAs in the house, the 45-year-old CM got support of 20 members. The floor test was necessitated after the demise of former CM Manohar Parrikar.
