BJP's Smriti Irani files nomination for Lok Sabha polls from Amethi

Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani has filed her nomination for the Lok Sabha elections from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. Irani performed puja and took out a roadshow before filing her nomination. She also contested from the seat in 2014 General elections and lost to Congress President Rahul Gandhi by a margin of over 1 lakh votes.
