BKU (Ekta-Ugrahan) activists gheraoed police stations across 13 Punjab districts after Mansa police seized the casket of 35-year-old Daljit Singh, found dead in a field. His family claimed he died due to drug overdose but police alleged murder and arrested three suspects. Ex-CM Channi joined protesters at Mansa. The union demanded the body be returned to the family.
