Black and yellow taxis in Mumbai to have roof light indicators soon

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Transport Authority (MMRTA) has made it mandatory for all black and yellow taxis in the city to install the colour-coded indicator by March 31, 2023. The LED indicator will have green, red and white-coloured lights which can tell if the taxi is vacant, hired, or the driver wants to take a break.
