Black snow covers streets, houses in pollution-hit Russian region; pic surfaces

A thick layer of black snow covered several houses, streets and cars in pollution-hit Russian village of Omsukchan. Residents and officials have said that coal-burning hot water plant is releasing soot in the air, which is responsible for growing pollution level. Officials said that the plant is vital as a heating source for flats and houses in the area.
