Blackstone gets NCLT nod to buy Hyderabad's Trident Hotel for ₹584 cr

US' Blackstone Group has received the National Company Law Tribunal's approval to acquire Hyderabad's Trident Hotel for ₹584 crore, a year after the hotel cleared the company's offer. The hotel, owned by Golden Jubilee Hotels and managed by Oberoi Group, was taken to bankruptcy court in February 2018. This is Blackstone's first deal in India under the bankruptcy law.
