Blackstone planning ₹40,000-cr bid for 51% Haldiram's stake: Report

Blackstone is planning to submit a bid worth ₹40,000 crore to acquire a controlling 51% stake in snack maker Haldiram's, Moneycontrol reported. The deal will value the company between ₹70,000 crore and ₹78,000 crore and the brand rights and restaurants' operational control will remain with the company's promoter Agrawal family. "[We haven't] re-bid for Haldiram's," a Blackstone spokesperson said.
