Blank space left on front page of NYT newspaper as Pak removes article to censor Shia Muslims' voice

The New York Times (NYT) left a blank space on the front page of its newspapers in Pakistan after the country decided to censor an article about Shiite anger in Pakistan amid the escalating West Asia war. Denying NYT's role, a small disclaimer in the blank space read, "This article was removed for print by our publishing alliance in Pakistan."
