Blood-like liquid starts gushing out of manhole in Hyderabad, sparks panic

Panic gripped residents in Hyderabad's Venkatadri Nagar area after a red-colour liquid resembling blood started gushing out of a manhole. Municipal authorities later informed residents that it was a red-coloured chemical that was apparently discharged from nearby industrial units. Telangana Pollution Control Board officials said steps would be taken to check discharge of chemicals by industries.
