A simple blood test may detect Alzheimer's decades before symptoms appear, a study suggests. Researchers measuring proteins, amyloid biomarkers and p-tau217 studied 1,350 people with average age of 61. They found 86 had high levels linked to worse memory and slower thinking over time. Experts said early detection could help start treatment earlier and improve diagnosis using easy blood tests.
