B'luru airport to be 1st in India to phase out gadgets-in-tray security check system

Bengaluru airport's Terminal 2 will soon get CTX (Computer Tomography X-ray) machines that will no longer require passengers to remove gadgets from their bags during security checks. This is said to be the first advanced installation in India and will get operational in the next few weeks. CTX machines will reduce number of trays required per person during security checks.
