B'luru garbage trucks to have speed regulators to avoid accidents

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will install speed regulators on 588 of its garbage compactors to restrict their speed to 35 km per hour. This comes after a two-wheeler rider was killed by a speeding city garbage truck recently. "To avoid similar mishaps in the future, we'll be providing basic skill development training to drivers," an official said.
