B'luru man sues firm for 'unauthorised' porting of 3 fancy phone numbers

A man from Bengaluru sued a cellphone service provider for the alleged "unauthorised" porting of three of his fancy phone numbers, reported Times of India. The man, who owned the numbers starting with '76767' since 2012, claimed that he'd approached the firm but it hadn't resolved the issue. A consumer court directed the firm to pay him ₹52,000 as compensation.
