BMC allows temporary shed at demolished Mumbai Jain temple site

A month after massive protests over the demolition of a Digambar Jain temple in Mumbai's Vile Parle, the BMC has permitted a temporary shed at the site ahead of the monsoon. This follows a Bombay High Court directive asking temple officials to formally seek interim shelter. "We continue our legal battle against...[the] illegal demolition by BMC," a temple official said.
