BMC begins rejuvenating 2 lakes in Mumbai amid water crisis

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has begun rejuvenating two lakes, Bhujale Talao and Kamal Talao, in Mumbai's western suburbs amid water crisis. Union Minister and North Mumbai MP Piyush Goyal inspected both lakes last week and said rejuvenation work will likely be completed within six months. The first phase of rejuvenating Bhujal Talao has already been initiated, an official said.
