BMC declares free parking at 24 locations in South Mumbai

BMC has announced free parking at 24 locations in South Mumbai's A Ward. This comes in response to a sting operation that exposed a contractor charging motorists above the authorised rates. BMC cancelled the contracts for these sites and handed control back to the local ward office. They plan to maintain this free service until new contractors are appointed.
