BMC declares holiday for all offices amid heavy rains, local trains suspended

BMC has declared a holiday for all private and government establishments, except emergency services, after waterlogging and heavy rainfall in many parts of Mumbai. Local train services were also affected. "Due to...waterlogging at Sion-Kurla, Chunabhatti-Kurla and Masjid, suburban services on Central Railway are suspended between CSMT-Thane/ CSMT-Vashi," Central Railway's Twitter handle wrote.
