BMC HQ canteen sealed by FDA over hygiene lapses; dead fly found in buttermilk

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sealed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters canteen after finding hygiene violations during an inspection. The action followed reports that a customer discovered a dead fly in a glass of buttermilk served at the canteen. After inspection, officials ordered the operator, Kamal Caterers, to immediately halt all canteen operations.
