BMC issues COVID guidelines amid surge in cases and new variants

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued preventive guidelines and precautionary measures against COVID-19 after cases of new sub-variants of Omicron were reported in parts of Maharashtra along with a rise in the number of infections. In its guidelines, BMC asked people to - maintain good ventilation indoors, frequently wash hands and wear masks in crowded places.
