BMC launches pre-Diwali cleanliness drive on 10 Mumbai roads

BMC has identified 10 roads including Western Express Highway, SCLR, and Carter Road for a pre-Diwali cleanliness drive running till November 7. Mechanical sweepers, misting machines, and water sprinklers will be deployed as part of the drive. A budget of ₹15 lakh per ward has been earmarked. The drive aims to curb pollution and improve air quality ahead of Diwali.
