BMC must act: BJP leader on goat sacrifice in Mumbai societies on Bakrid

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya on Thursday claimed that goat sacrifice (Qurbani) was being carried out in housing societies in Mumbai, including areas like Mankhurd, Deonar, and Govandi, despite designated slaughter locations. He urged the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and police to take action. This comes after the BMC cancelled a goat sacrifice ritual at a housing society in Goregaon.
