A section of the false ceiling collapsed at a newly opened Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) office, with employees narrowly escaping injury. The building, inaugurated about six months ago, had previously reported rainwater leakage. The incident comes at a time when the Mumbai civic body is facing criticism over severe flooding during the season's first heavy rains.
