BMC reopens Mahim Seafood Plaza to boost Koli culture

Mumbai's Mahim Seafood Plaza has reopened near Mahim Chowpatty, with stalls run by women's self-help groups serving fish delicacies. Open every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7–11 pm, the BMC initiative aims to promote Koli cuisine, support women's livelihoods, and boost tourism. Women have received training in fish-based products to strengthen their business skills.
