BMC suspends 3 officers after 11-yr-old dies as tree falls on bus

After 11-year-old student Vihaan Srivastav died after a tree fell on a school bus in Mumbai's Chembur, the BMC suspended three officers and formed a two-member committee to investigate the incident. Meanwhile, BMC records showed that its garden and tree department had earlier issued two showcause notices warning that excavation around tree was being carried out in an unscientific manner.
