BMC to cut 20% water supply for commercial use in Mumbai from June 17

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a 20% cut in water supply to industrial and commercial establishments from June 17. The move comes in addition to the 10% citywide water cut already in effect since May 15. The decision was taken as water levels in Mumbai's seven lakes dropped to 10.35% and the monsoon is yet to arrive.
