BMC to shut all ward-level COVID-19 care centres as cases dip

All ward-level COVID-19 care centres in Mumbai are to be closed as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided that only one centre will be operational per zone. Medical health officer, L ward, Dr Jitendra Jadhav said that there were hardly any patients now, adding that doctors, nurses, housekeeping etc have to be kept on to keep a facility operational.
