BMC to use mobile X-ray vans for screening in societies in containment zones

Ten mobile X-ray vans will be used by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to detect chest abnormalities from the presence of COVID-19-causing virus. Once screened, those with suspicious reports will be tested for COVID-19. "We've identified patients at jumbo centres and slums. We'll now use the vans at residential areas in containment zones," BMC Additional Commissioner Suresh Kakani said.
