BMC unveils highest-ever budget of ₹80,952 crore for 2026-27

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday unveiled its highest-ever Budget of ₹80,952 crore for 2026-27. The Budget allocated ₹48,164.28 crore for capital expenditure, including ₹5,690 crore for Mumbai Sewage Disposal Project and ₹2,650 crore for Goregaon–Mulund Link Road project. It also allocated ₹7,456 crore for health, ₹4,248.08 crore for education and ₹1,000 crore for BEST buses.
