BMRCL cuts costs, redesigns stations for Phase 3A Metro project

BMRCL has redesigned several stations and reduced construction costs for Bengaluru's Phase 3A Metro project, bringing estimated cost down to ₹25,999 crore. The revised plan includes smaller underground stations, new interchange links, platform screen doors, commercial development and additional trains. Despite the savings, the Hebbal-Sarjapur corridor remains Bengaluru's costliest Metro project.
