BMTC planning to induct 10 double-decker AC electric buses

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is planning to induct 10 double-decker air-conditioned electric buses, said BMTC Director AV Surya Sen. "Of the 10, amount (for procurement) has been sanctioned for five. We are also in the process of identifying the routes," Sen added. The electric buses are likely to be operated on Outer Ring Road and other peripheral roads.
